Durable and Sharp Blades Our O'Shine Long Handle Miter Shears feature blades made from high-quality SK5 steel, sourced from Japan. The blades are coated with hard chrome and heat-treated to achieve a rockwell hardness (HRC) of 52. This makes the shears ideal for cutting various materials including wood parts (up to 3/4 inch in size), 1/4 round molds, balsa wood sticks, trunking, PVC trim, chamfer, weather strips, rubber strips, and shoe molding. We do not recommend this tool for metal cutting.
