O’Shine Ratchet Miter Shear is an upgraded version of O’Shine Miter Shear. It features an auto-stop ratchet system and long leverage handles with soft and thick PP+TPR grips, designed to reduce wrist stress and cutting force. This heavy-duty shear excels in making angular cuts on a variety of materials, including molding, trim, plastic tubing, tack strip, quarter round, chamfer, round molds, trunking, and PVC strips. It’s also suitable for rubber gaskets, weatherstrip, shoe mold, and light materials. Note: This tool is not intended for cutting metals.
Sharp and Durable SK5 Blade
The O’Shine Ratchet Miter Shear uses Japanese-made SK5 steel, coated with hard chrome and heat-treated to HRC52. Each blade’s cutting edge is meticulously ground by experienced craftsmen, ensuring sharpness and durability. Replacement blades are available in a 3-piece set, and can be easily ordered from the O’Shine Miter Shears page.
Unique Angle Adjustment Design
The anvil of the O’Shine Ratchet Miter Shear features incised markings for 45°, 60°, 75°, 90°, 105°, 120°, and 135°. The holes next to these markings allow for quick and precise angle adjustments with a reliable "click" sound. The spring and iron ball inside securely hold the fence position, ensuring accurate cuts. Both the anvil and movable fence are made of fine aluminum alloy, providing a good balance of stability and lightweight design for consistent and long-term use.
Fast Blade Changing with Additional Blade Included
The O’Shine Ratchet Miter Shear comes with an extra blade in a PP sheath, along with a hex key and detailed blade-changing instructions. Follow the instructions to change the blade in just a minute. Safety is paramount; always wear gloves when using the shear or changing blades to prevent injury.
